The Flowers for Food Calendar was conceived to raise money for the Sedona Community Centers’ Meals on Wheels program in honor of Joseph Coates, who was still delivering Meals on Wheels at age 86, the year before he passed away. Photographer Bob Coates came up with the concept, supplied the artistic images and graphic design. “I’m really excited about this,” said Bob. “This has the possibility of raising a large amount of money for the Meals on Wheels Program. With the help of the monthly sponsors the calendar will be paid for, printed, ready to go and approximately $2000 will already have been raised. This will leave approximately 2000 calendars available for sale.
